7/29/2005 12:49:00 PM|W|P|hbjock|W|P|Hey gang... ok, this post is going to be a little weird... Brett came up with this funky contest with stickfigures and blogger photos. Trust me, I have no idea why... but then again, he's kinda kooky like that. And well, since all my other blogger buddies are joining in the fun.. here's my entry for the "sex" category... Trust me, I didn't know what the hell to draw... It's separated into two parts... one in the morning/afternoon.. and the bottom pic is later that night... and this is what Brett gets for creating something like this... you dork! Granted, hes' a hot dork, but a dork still the same ;) Oh, and that mess of lines in the top pic... heheheh... it's called double penetration hehehe.. it's really hard to create that in stick figures, I tell ya!! |W|P|112267776599295885|W|P|Brett, Brett, Brett...|W|P|bfljock79@gmail.com7/29/2005 02:43:00 PM|W|P|Blogger Jacky|W|P|Gives new meaning to the phrase "Stick it to him".7/29/2005 05:06:00 PM|W|P|Blogger BRETTCAJUN|W|P|THANK YOU JONAH!!!! Those damned resistance bands are killing me for sure, but I guess.. that's kinda the point huh?? =). Anyway, the pushups are still kicking my ass, but oh well.. it is a process right? =) So I have no idea what to do today... hmm maybe I'll just play "catch-up" with all my blogging friends. Oh!! Before I forget... I'm going to be out of town from this coming Saturday til the following Saturday. I'm going back up to my old high school and teaching marching technique and drill movement to the marching band up there. I do it every year, and it's always a total blast. I haven't decided on if I'm going to audio blog from there, but you never know! All I know is, I have one night of a youth hula competition tomorrow eve and one more day of "Pirates of Penzance" on Friday... the only bad thing about working for an entertainment complex is that sometimes you see a show sooo many times that you learn every word and movement and it loses its thrill hehehe. Anyway, have a great day guys! I didn't really have any clue of a particular hottie that I wanted to post this week, so it's going to be another week of misc man flesh hehehe... Hope you guys like it! Ok this first one, I wanted to post because he has the kind of bod that I want to have.. and I think I'll probably have a body type very similar to this when I'm done, so watch out! Hehehe. It'd be really nice to have all the hotties of the world eating out of the palm of my hand for once when I get a bod like this... Heheh now don't get me wrong.. I'm not trying to be stuck up or anything... it just would be nice to have everyone stop, stare and drool over a bod that I created, you know? =) Our second candidate is a total hottie... sometimes I think that shorter guys have the best builds because this guy is the epitome of a compact muscular build that was just carved out of smooth alabastor stone, don't you think? He reminds me a lot of Beast, well except that this guy has a different skin tone than Beast does, but I think in terms of build, they're very similar... and now Beast thinks he has to do more cardio because I'm starting to see results in my bod? Please stud, you are sooo hot and don't even know it. =) Oh now this third image just... well... ok it's a team of A&F boys posing with some ... girl, and I just thought they looked hot. I know that the A&F look is losing popularity around the older crowd, because they look so plastic and fake, but still i'm a 19 year old guy at heart so I still have a soft spot for these guys... hehe And finally, we have this pic.... dang.. so many muscled guys in one shot... yum!! I've seen pics of boy #2 before and I TOTALLY AGREE... he looks almost exactly like a slight-more-well-developed Beast... but Beast is EXTREMELY close to looking like that. I think Beast knows it and he's just such an incredibly modest/nice guy that he refuses to be cocky about it... which truly makes him even more studly.

Guy #1 took me by surprise. I'm about 90% sure I went to high school with him. The background shows foliage from a part of the nation to which I knew he went to college as well. If it is him - let me tell you - when he was 16 he was the skinniest geek in the universe but he was TOTALLY closet gay and ALWAYS talking about guys with muscle. Given the dedication and ambition he had - I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him with a body like that AND making millions somewhere off his ivy league education. The unfortunate part is that he was always far too arrogant to actually love someone or let someone love him - even when he was a skinny geek - he still thought he was better than everyone else.

Go figure.7/26/2005 05:42:00 AM|W|P|Blogger BRETTCAJUN|W|P|MAJOR WOOF!!!! THESE GUYS ARE INCREDIBLE!!! I have a question for you... do you ever post HAIRY hotties??? I'm not much for rap, and I guess my boss must've guessed that because he had me working at the front gate for the first half of the evening. Great... so he sends me from an area that I have no interest, to an area where it's hard to keep my mind on my job because of all the hotties that were walking in! Heheheh... and I have to say... the military must be stepping up their game, because there wasn't an overweight soldier in the whole amphitheater! And there were THOUSANDS!! Oh, and Alex... sorry dude, they all kept their shirts on... and well, I'm not allowed to bring a camera to work anyway =((. You just had to be there... hot chests just straining at the fabric.. yum! (Oh, and it was a regular concert, so they weren't in uniform... only the few MPs were.. and one of them had a REALLY nice ass in those cammies...but I digress..) Anyway, there were a whole bunch of comedians there in addition to the musical entertainment, so the whole evening was a lot of fun... I'm just amazed that no huge brawls broke out!! I better start doing more cardio...7/22/2005 11:52:00 PM|W|P|hbjock|W|P| I am the Pirate King! And it is, it is a glorious thing to be the Pirate King! Ahoy matey!! Tonight I ushered a performance of Hawai'i Opera Theatre's production of Gilbert & Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance! Now some of you may be thinking... what??? Well anyway, Pirates is an operetta that premiered way back in the 1800s and has survived the test of time and was even made into a movie in 1983 starring Kevin Kline and Angela Landsbury! The story centers around a young pirate apprentice named Frederic who turns 21 years of age and is let out of his servitude to the last remaining pirate horde along the English coastline, the Pirates of Penzance. Young Frederic leaves his mates and embarks upon the world to find a new and better fortutne and along the way he falls in love with a girl named Mabel, who happens to be one of the daughters of an English Major General. However, through some cruel trick of fate, it is revealed later that Frederic was born on February 29th, and according to his contract of pirate servitude, he is bound to be a pirate until he reaches his 21st birthday! And as his Pirate Captain and maid were so kind to remind him, in birthdays, Frederic is "only five.. and a little bit over". Full of comedic hi-jinks and swashbuckling fun, the Pirates of Penzance was the first musical I had ever even heard of, when it was broadcast on tv when I was a little kid... and let me tell you, when "Frederic" (played by Rex somebody) and the "Pirate King" (played by Kevin Kline) first burst on the screen together, I was in love... I know, I know, most of you will think... Kevin Kline? Are you nuts? Well I have to tell you, he was much younger then with a lean body and some form to his hairy chest... and "Frederic" was lean and smooth... yummie!! Heheh anyway, I was too far away to see if the guys in this production are super hot... but it was a great show anyway! I get to see it again tomorrow afternoon before also ushering at a military concert at another one of our venues, the Waikiki Shell.. I'm not looking forward to the concert though... apparently the headliner is Snoop Dogg.. and well, I'm not much of a rap fan... especially someone like Snoops Dogg... anyway, I just hope that tomorrow goes by really quickly... wish me luck! Oh by the way, today's workout was pretty fun.. the pushups are getting a little easier.. so it may not be too long before I'll be able to do all of them ;). Tarantaratarantaratarantara!7/22/2005 11:40:00 PM|W|P|hbjock|W|P|Hey everybody... well, it's already 1am and for the risk of a total cliche and sounding corny, The Lord knows that I really need to get my ass back into bed so I can get up to workout and go to work tomorrow. Anyway, the other night I was asked to come into work on my day off to cover for someone... I thought, "Oh great..." and when I heard it was for some religious thing... even more so, I thought, "Oh wow.... exciting... I can hardly wait..." Well, as it turns out, what I witnessed that night was history in the making to be sure. You see, the "religious thing" was the installment of the new Bishop of the Honolulu diocese of the Catholic Church. The post is a lifetime position, so like the installment of a new Pope, it doesn't happen every day! And what made this installment even more rare, is that the new Bishop is a local! That has never happened before... Bishop Clarence Silva was born here in Honolulu of Portuguese heiritage. Now, even though I grew up in a Catholic family and am baptized Catholic, I have never witnessed the installment of a church official. OMG the pagentry! The first half hour of the ceremony consisted of a procession of Hawaiian chanters and dancers who were spiritually cleansing the arena and giving praise to the land and the ancestors. Now isn't it just odd that the Catholic Church would allow a group of Hawaiian chanters and dancers to bless a Catholic ceremony?? I have a feeling that Bishop Silva requested that they be there, because I can't imagine the diocese actually approving something like that outright... In addition to that, several Bishops and Archbishops from around the world, including a representative of the Pope himself were in attendance to give their blessings and "lay their hands" upon him confirming his position. But, the coolest part was seeing all the different ethnic groups that are present here in Hawai'i (Hawaiians, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Vietnamese, Portuguese, Hispanic, Puerto Ricans, Caucasians, Samoans, Tongans, African-Americans). They all had delegations dressed in their ethnic clothing presenting gifts to the Bishop. So much color! So much culture! It was awesome! And it's nice to know that someone at such a high post in the Church has a sense of coolness, you know? Anyway, to top it all off, the event was free... there were about 3,000 people there, and after the ceremony, they fed everyone!! Including us!! I can't believe I was actually fed as if I was a guest and not just a worker! Ahhh I guess the Church isn't all that bad at times ;).|W|P|112211742241322842|W|P|His Holiness|W|P|bfljock79@gmail.com7/23/2005 07:09:00 AM|W|P|Blogger turlie|W|P|if that man is Portuguese then i must be chinese......NOT!!! Anyway, that's about it. I have to work tomorrow though so I don't know when I'll be able to post... the new Catholic Bishop is being "installed" tomorrow at a ceremony at the Blaisdell Arena, so we have to be there at 2:30pm for early check in because of all the supposed security that there's going to be... which probably means that the damn thing isn't gonna start till 7pm.... ugh... which means I won't get home till midnight.. yikes!! Your Blogging Type is Artistic and Passionate
You see your blog as the ultimate personal expression - and work hard to make it great. One moment you may be working on a new dramatic design for your blog... And the next, you're passionately writing about your pet causes. Your blog is very important - and you're careful about who you share it with.
This one is for one of my best blogging buddies, Ryan. I guess I was thinking of the wrong quiz, Ry.. hehehe oh well, I like this result too :)|W|P|112185091992211825|W|P||W|P|bfljock79@gmail.com7/20/2005 12:15:00 AM|W|P|Blogger nfwnohow|W|P|aye... I'm SO behind!!

Your size changes are nothing short of exceptional too!! Dude, you lost a full inch on your waist while GAINING an 1/2" on your arms?! That kicks ass!! and in what timeframe?

I can't agree more on that very fine gymnast man. I love watching those guys but they ALWAYS have a nack for making me feel "behind" by a large degree. Think about it though, he's most likely been training since he was... ohh... 6!!!!

It's amazing how much effect a bunch of up-dogs and down-dogs can do to your body.

Keep it up dude!7/20/2005 04:24:00 AM|W|P|Blogger sixshooter|W|P|I started Power90 .. loved it at first but fell off the wagon ... hard to get back into that routine knowing you have to start over ...

Not being in shape, it seemed like it would work instant wonders for people "fine-tuning" or "getting back in to shape." I saw the weight loss, I just never saw the muscle build.

The crunches were my favorite part though -- doing 100 or 200 crunches sounds horrible, but the way they are broken up makes them much easier. (They are still killer by the time you are halfway done, but still ...)

Hope it works out ... can't wait to hear about your progress.7/20/2005 04:40:00 AM|W|P|Blogger purpletwinkie|W|P|Congrats! Keep up the good work!7/20/2005 10:06:00 AM|W|P|Blogger Donnie|W|P|Congrats on the measurements, BFLJock!! I knew you'd do well on the Power 90! Keep up the great work.

We actually got started out late on account of my friend D going to church beforehand, what a good girl she is...=) Oh, by the way, “Ka Nalu Nui” is a chant that was composed for a great surfer named Naihe who lived during the 1700s. Of course this is just the very first part of it… the entire chant is 100s of lines long! Anyway, we went out to meet the guy she's kinda hanging out with these days, and let me tell you, he is a hottie! Hehhe wish I had some pics of him, but... well, it wouldn't be fair to post pics of him. He could find them and get mad at me, so I couldn't have that =). And the best thing? He made us lunch... awwww how sweet right? So after hanging out for a while, D and I went up to the North Shore to find this guy who apparently makes the best pickled mango on the island... and it's fresh, so who can beat that right? We finally found him up towards Haleiwa, and let me tell you, it was delicious! He was telling us that there were turtles out in the bay that afternoon... so my camera happy self had to go snap a few pics! Is that cool or what?? I also had to take some pics of the mountain range near by... it's not often that I get to go up to that side of the island and the view is incredible. The flat area at the top is the top of Mt. Ka'ala, the highest point on the island of O'ahu. And this area to the end of the range is called Unulau which is famed in many O'ahu chants and dances. At the end of the cliff area is a stretch of land called Ka'ena which is the western most point on the island, and also said to be a "leaping point" to the spirit world.. that according to tradition, when a person dies, their spirit goes to one of these points and leaps into the next world. IF the person was good to others in life, then his family guardian will be there to greet him and take him to be reunited with his family that have passed before him.... but, if he was nasty and evil, then he would leap and fall into Muku, the underworld for all eternity! Now you know I HAD to take some pics of hot guys.. but I didn't want to be discovered hehehe.. so you'll have to click on the pics to get a better view ;) Anyway, after hitting the north shore, D and I went back down to the south shore to meet up with her man and we hit an area called Kalaeloa... not much surf out there, but then again, there isn't much surf around anywhere on the island this week. Hey, even the surf capital of the world has to have some slow days right? Oh and as you can tell, by the time we got to the beach, the sun was going down, so unforutnately, the shots of the hot surf boys didn't come out too great. Oh and yeah, that's the infamous Diamond Head (traditionally known as Leahi) and Waikīkī in the distance... The surf was pretty good for boogey boarding and body boarding, so it wasn't a total loss!

Afterwards, we ended up going to watch a neighborhood football game for a while... you know, it's just funny to watch straight guys to call each other "fag" and "queer" for whatever reason and then to watch the same guys fumble and throw incompleted passes time in and time out... ahhh don't you love how things always come back to bite ya in the ass? =)

So that was basically my day at the beach... I did cut my foot a little bit on the reef though, but it's ok.. not a deep wound. I'll probably be back in the water tomorrow heheh..

Hell, this damn tummy makes me so weak sometimes ;). Anyway, other than that, the workout was awesome.. totally broke a sweat and I could already see my stomach being a little closer to my body last night. I know I know, it'll take a few weeks to notice some real changes... heheh but any changes I can see, no matter how small make me feel good.. Heheh someday I hope to become a total Power 90 success story, and hopefully move onto P90X... which is like the "extreme" version of Power 90.. I saw the videos for the program, and I was like "What the fuuuuck???" Hell, I've never seen a harder workout program, it looks something akin to Navy Seal training boot camp... yikes! Anyway, the workout was awesome and I have one more day of "Sweat" before I get a day off.. and on my day off? I'm hitting the beach with one of my girlfriends from high school and her current boyfriend. From what I hear, he's pretty hot! Hmm I may have to bring my digital cam and take some shots ;). Anyway, last night a really good friend of mine was feeling a bit lonesome and confused by all the boys in his area of the world and started wondering whether he'd ever find love again... So I thought about a great song that fit the situation.. Nothing's gonna harm you, not while I'm around Nothing's gonna harm you, no sir, not while I'm around Demons are prowling everywhere nowadays I'll send them howling I don't care, I got ways No one's gonna hurt you, No one's gonna dare Others can desert you, Not to worry, whistle, I'll be there! Demons'll charm you with a smile, for a while, But in time... Nothing can harm you Not while I'm around... Being close and being clever Ain't like being true I don't need to, I would never hide a thing from you, Like some... No one's gonna hurt you, no one's gonna dare Others can desert you, Not to worry, whistle, I'll be there! Demons'll charm you with a smile, for a while But in time... Nothing can harm you Not while I'm around... Beautiful lyrics, don't you think? Now as some of the "old school" gay guys may know, Barbara Streisand recorded this song some years back... but it actually comes from a musical by Stephen Sondheim called "Sweeney Todd", or should I say, "Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street". Heheheh I'm sure that title will probably make some of you think "WTF??". Yeah, it is a really morbid, screwed up musical about a barber who goes on a murderous rampage in order to avenge the harm caused upon his family some years before... and although it sounds weird, this show did win 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical of 1979, and a Best Actress award for international phenomenon Angela Landsbury. That's right! Mrs. Potts was once a psychotic meat pie shop owner who aided Sweeney Todd in his devious plan.. heheheh. So anyway, thinking of the song made me pop in the dvd tonight (Which by the way, the recording of this musical also got 3 Emmys!). You know, I'm a total musical freak and it is really great to watch great productions preserved on DVD for all to enjoy... you never know when posterity might want to break it out of the vaults and put it back on the stage! They should put every musical on DVD :) *Update* What an interesting twist of fate... I just read on Playbill.com that Sweeney Todd is going to be back on the boards on Broadway in October of this year! I imagine that it will be one of the nominees for Best Revival of a Musical at next year's Tony Awards!|W|P|112149124848981550|W|P|"Sweeney Todd"|W|P|bfljock79@gmail.com7/16/2005 04:41:00 AM|W|P|Blogger Jim|W|P|Nice of you to send out those words to him, you do good friend.

Sweeny Todd? Yikes, I feel like a bad old school gay since I've never heard of that. Even worse since I have an uncle that works on Broadway. lol

And "Nothing's Gonna Harm You" is one of the sweetest/creepiest moments EVER in modern theater. It so speaks to my dark/tender heart...

And they're doing a revival? Damn! Any word on who's starring?

My cover as a closet Sondheim fan is now totally blown, I guess ;-)7/18/2005 03:26:00 AM|W|P|Blogger cola boy|W|P|Now you did it! Sweeney Todd is my favortie Sondheim show as well as favorite show of all-time. I portrayed Toby in a local production of it back in about '95. You don't know what a thrill it was to kill the lead each night with his own razor. [EG]

I am glad the show was filmed and is now on DVD (I own it, of course) but some scenes were edited out of the show (and the Broadway version) for time constraints. You can hear them on the cast album. When I first saw the musical it was a nearly-exact copy of the Broadway version and they put back in those edited scenes. I did not know anything about the show when I went and by the final scenes I was grasping the arm wrests of my seat wondering who would survive. Kellsy Grammer and Christine Baranski performed the leads in a California production a few years back. That would have been a great show to see.7/14/2005 11:45:00 PM|W|P|hbjock|W|P|

Ok, granted I was out til 2:30 this morning, but still... 11 hours? I don't know how my body can sleep that much.. and it's not like this is a one-time thing.. my bod sleeps like that all the time! Ahh well... at least I did get my ass up and finally did my cardio/abs workout. Of course it's still kicking my ass big time... especially that damned Yoga... I do like 4 "downward dogs, plank and lifts" and then I'm tired and sore! I swear they should re-label the cardio workout as the calves workout from hell! So I had to stop a few times.. but at least it's over now... and that abs workout.. man! I don't think I've ever done 100 crunches before in my life in one session... Those stars and fitness studs who claim to do 1,000 crunches a day? How the HELL?? So now I'm sitting here watching "Soul Plane". I know that a lot of people truly despise this movie and think it's the dumbest movie on the planet, including a lot of African Americans... but hell, I think it's hilarious! Ok ok... it does have every typical "black" stereotype in it... but hell, Mo'Nique is too much!! "Ahhh look at this nigga here... look more like "Five Cent."... Halt!! You keep fuckin' up on my rhymes now... move it along! Move it along!" And I'm sorry, but that whole scene between Mo'Nique and the hot black passenger... classic! |W|P|112139868593192200|W|P|Laaaazy...|W|P|bfljock79@gmail.com7/14/2005 05:49:00 PM|W|P|Blogger Glenn Ingersoll|W|P|Some of us like your Hawaiian groove.

Yoga can kick your ass. I've been doing it ten years now -- I think of it as physical therapy for my grownup unhappy childhood -- and whatever gets easier gets harder at the same time. If you can bend deeper than you ever could before you still bend to the place where it's hella hard. It's really when I'm doing other things that I notice I have range of motion (& strength) I never had before. Still, after a yoga workout I can be sore for days!

I go to a YMCA yoga class after work once or twice a week (& try to squeeze in a few weights now n then too). The Y is a block from my job, which makes it easy. If the gym were a 40 min bus ride away I think I'd get there once a month.

I have pecs now -- or, as I call them, tits. Which is weird. What's this flesh doing on my chest? Is it supposed to be there?7/16/2005 12:29:00 PM|W|P|Blogger Sangroncito|W|P|I remember when I could barely do 20 sit-ups. Now I can do them forever, or at least until I get bored. I did break a MAJOR sweat though! And my pushups suck ass!! You know, you never really know how strong or weak you are until you do something simple like pushups or pullups. Hell when I was a kid, I could do 50-100 pushups easy.... hell, now I can't even do 5 before getting tired!! Damn!! I never imagined I'd be 26 and unable to do 5 measley pushups before breaking a sweat... yikes... I'm getting "old". Oh well, let's hope it gets better over the next few weeks. Anyway, I don't really have anything profound to say today or anything... hmmm maybe I should launch into my Hawaiian language/history series again.. although I know that tends to bore the hell out of most... hmmm.. oh well, I'll figure something out.. Today's workout totally kicked my ass!! Who knew that you could get so sore and tired and sweaty just by working out at home! And hell, this workout was harder than my running that I normally do!

The first 5 minutes of the workout involves "power yoga" and let me tell you... this shit looks easy on the dvd, but hell... have any of you ever tried yoga? That shit is hard!! I had to stop after 2 minutes and wait till the rest of the workout got underway! You know a workout is kicking your ass when you have to constanty stop or slow down your pace hehehe. Then again, this is only the first day, so it's ok to pause the workout at this point... I'm just hoping that it'll become damned easy in a few weeks...

Apparently every 30 days they send you a new workout video... right now I'm working on Sweat and Sculpt 1-2... and around day 45 or so I'm supposed to switch up to Sweat and Sculpt 3-4... damn I can only imagine what hell that must be like! Heheheh... then again, if I want the hot bod, I need to do it right??

I mean come on... could you just imagine me leaning back in my chair here with a bod like that? Damn... I would flip out myself!! Oh well.. one day at a time right? Well here we go!! Well, it's a day late... but trust me, I didn't forget! Here we go with this week's "Hottie of the Week"!! Usually I tend to post a whole bunch of various guys.. but this week, I wanted to go back to one of my favorite guys I've ever seen on the net. His name is Anthony and he's a model on CircleJerkBoys.com. I think when I first started this blog, I posted a series of him... and in the last few weeks the site owner posted this guy's original audition video... a hot buffed military boy, in a flight suit! What could be hotter than that, really? So anyway, here's a few pics from the series... sorry, no x-rated stuff as this site is accessible by minors... and really, the site owner would probably be pissed if I showed the goods since of course, he wants everyone to get a membership.. Which by the way, if you like amateur buffed up jerking guys who SOMETIMES get a little crazier... sign up! I did and I love it ;). Mmm... flight suits.. yum! Take it off baby!! You gotta love a strong back, right? I mean, it is the one muscle group that supports all others... and there's nothing hotter than a guy with a strong back I think! There's just something hot about a shirtless guy in dogtags... And there's also something really hot about a guy who's got "guns" and can lean back real easy and flex them so seductively!! Alright gang.. that's it for now.. this muscleboy in training needs to get my ass back to bed so I can get up for cardio tomorrow! It's just that sometimes it's really hard to get up in the morning and catch a bus to the gym which is about 40 minutes away. So usually I've been really bad and coming up with reasons to not go to the gym.. I know, "Bad muscleboy, bad!!" Anyway, I've come up with a temporary solution of sorts... my dad recently purchased a program I've been wanting to try for a while called "Power 90". I'm sure many of you have seen the infommercial. Well anyway, all the transformations on the infommercial looked great and the workout plan wasn't all that much different from the Body-for-Life program that I've been currently attempting.. and the best part is, I can do it from home! Heheh... so anyway, I promised my dad that I would work out with him... which he was all excited about.. and we've had it in the house for about a week now and he hasn't even opened the box *rolls eyes*. So anyway, I've broken it open and decided to start it... and OMG it's F**KING HARD!! I don't know if any of you have ever tried circuit training before.. but damn... going from doing pushups to bicep curls to back exercises to lunges all in a few minutes without much of a break.. it's like hell on earth! This workout is tougher than my gym workout!! Heheh.. Anyway, we'll see what happens by the 90-day mark. So far though.. it's been fun, and at least I don't have to go anywhere to work out =).|W|P|112112528090764014|W|P|Power 90!!|W|P|bfljock79@gmail.com7/11/2005 04:24:00 PM|W|P|Blogger Jim|W|P|Never heard of it but sounds like it jump started you today, which is good.

A friend of ours (a female) told me that he had just shot his load over the webcam for her... which of course, really should've just made me chuckle and laugh it off...but it seriously got me mad! I got mad because he was messing around with someone else on cam... I was mad because she was a woman... and I was mad because she's my friend having cam sex with someone I have feelings for! YIKES!! He sent me a txt message a couple times saying he was kidding.. but I didn't answer him back because I was still steamed a little... Then today I got a little depressed because a local navy friend I recently met here went from looking for a friend and someone to hang with to someone just looking for a quick fuck... why that got me depressed, I have no idea! And tonight... with one of my new blogger buddies... I got pissed at him because he went out and hunted for some ass and found some and then proceeded to tell me the whole story about why he couldn't call me back right away because he had scored... I mean, I can see if he and I were "involved"... but hell, we just met and he lives on the other side of the country!! WTF??? And lastly, I got pissed at a webcam bud because he just revealed to me that he had a girlfriend at the beginning of this year when he had been openly flirting with me asking me to be his boyfriend and talking about all that stuff with me... of course he doesn't remember acting that lovesick with me.. but I do.. now he thinks because I pulled up all this stuff and because I was pissed that he lied to me.. he thinks I'm being obsessive and scary.. so now he's not talking to me... UGH!!! What the hell is wrong with me this week???? I mean are the planets like WAY out of alignment and fucking up my karma or what? I hate feeling like this... I'm so fucking confused I don't know whether to scratch my watch or wind my butt... ugh.... Sorry, I know you really didn't need to hear any of this guys... I just needed to get it out. I need some serious mediation and re-evaluation of my life I think... Well.. good night to you all... =) *and yes it's that bad that I've disregarded the censoring of cursewords hehehe*|W|P|112098909737508865|W|P|Argh!!|W|P|bfljock79@gmail.com7/10/2005 12:00:00 AM|W|P|Blogger Atlanta Single Man|W|P|I am sorry about your navy friend...I hope you feel better ....7/10/2005 03:06:00 AM|W|P|Blogger Jim|W|P|You are just venting frustrations, I think we all can relate to that.

"This to shall pass"7/11/2005 12:11:00 AM|W|P|Blogger drifter|W|P|Hey sexy man - I'm back from vacation. Did ya miss me? ;)

Wow - my first response would be to say "it is not just you" when it comes to this stuff.

I experience/feel the same way about the same type of stuff. It seems to be a mix of reasons/beliefs that cause this. N2d33p and I have discussions on this stuff a lot.

For me, which may also be your reason, is that I hold the original or old school belief that sex is something of value and should be regarded higher than it seems to be. So, when these types of things happen (casual cam sex, quick and random hook ups, roller coaster ride of attraction then retraction) you see your view of sex/relationships being belittled, devalued, destroyed, or similar.

I would also say that you may be like me in the sense that you are emotionally based (not an emotional wreck - there is a difference) and you tend to associate emotions with the people you surround yourself with. It is a much deeper connection for us and something we assume others may share, only to find out that is not the case. Again, we see our belief being destroyed or ruled irrelevant and that causes a great amount of pain.

I truly believe that over the course of the last decade the values and morals of our society - both gay & straight - have diminished to the lowest levels in history. I believe the internet has provided a shallow & cold "monster" among society where people we normally would avoid or be cautious of can transform into something else. I believe we, especially gay people, are falling into a trap of self destruction and lowered values/standards and this will all eventually catch up to us. I believe the concept of random and quick hooks up, open relationships, momentary friendships, lack of regard for other peoples feelings, etc., will eventually lead to a very lonely world.

I have been single for 4 years because I have been holding true to my values and ideals of who I am, what I am looking for, and the person I am hoping to find. I hold sex (with me at least) to a higher level, value and respect and refuse to give in and let just anyone have a piece. As a result, as sad as it is to say and to admit on a public blog, it has been almost 1 year since I had sex with someone. I am fine with that on the basis of holding true to what I believe - but will not deny that I miss the intimacy of being with someone. But, I have not found (or believed) the person who shares my feelings and will "ya aint just gonna tap this ass if it don't mean a hell-of-a-lot to you."

Hang in there - it's got to get better. But you are definitely not alone.7/11/2005 06:18:00 AM|W|P|Anonymous Charles B.|W|P|Don't get discouraged! Hey gang... well, today was pretty much a non-existant one for me. I ended up staying up till 9am Honolulu time due to restlessness, hormones, and just general chatting. Oh! I have to say that I met a really cool blogger last night too. I always love meeting new people online and it's a real honor to meet new readers. So with that, I'd like to say Aloha! to my new friend Kevin from Atlanta. He likes to post little thoughts here and there along with the occasional picture of a hot guy or two... mmmm... =) Anyway, he found my site through another hottie Brettcajun, so thanks a lot Brett! You're awesome ;). Other than that my day's been pretty un-eventful... I slept from about 9-4... so I just woke up in time to get ready for dinner *smirk*. Ahh you gotta love days off... hehe. Apparently things are really slow at work this month, so aside from a fire safety meeting tomorrow morning I'm off till the 17th.. oh what to do with all that time! Heheh... ahh well, a nice vacation would be nice. Hell, I may only have a part time job, but for some reason, it feels like a full-time job... just wish I got paid like it was ;). Anyway, so as you can tell... I don't really have anything monumental to say... Since I've finished the Harry Potter series so far... I recently purchased the Illustrated version of The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown. Now, if, for some reason, there are some who have NOT read this book yet... where have you been??? It's been #1 on the Best Seller list for over a year now =). If you haven't read it yet, or even if you have, I suggest buying the Illustrated version that I'm reading now... it's filled with artwork and photographs of things and places relevant in the story... and what a story it is! Although its story is being debated as to what part is fact and what part is fiction... it is thoroughly thought-provoking... especially for religious history buffs =). Well, I better get to bed... I have to be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to get ready for work... A hui hou!

I read it about a year ago, and it's still sitting out, waiting for me to have another go at it. Though it's fiction, it raised enough questions to make me do even more digging, and turned me into the 'free-thinker' I am now.7/09/2005 02:07:00 AM|W|P|Blogger Pookie65|W|P|If I were to broadcast the books I've read in the last month my blog the comments section would be made up of housewives, old maids, and women who enjoyed reading the same book whilst under the dryer at her beauty shop.

They'd want to discuss important things like how the main character succumbed to her primal urges and was seduced by the kindly yet sexy widower next door. Or how she emerged a stronger woman for bedding the sultry construction worker who obviously adored her...

My hubby has a bookcase filled with well-written hardbacks and best sellers that make the NY Times list and stimulate the mind. I have boxes and boxes of similar books hidden in the garage (I'm ashamed I haven't started them yet so I hide them)

I have been unable to read something "worth reading" and instead devour used/traded paperbacks I keep in my nightstand.

Dark good looks, throbbing manhood’s, and heaving bosoms fill my mind at bedtime....not something that I could actually benefit from.

Am I a 40 y.o. educated gay man or a soccer mom with burning desires for tacky romance? I have a penis and I love a man so the answer is obvious but somewhere something went wrong.

You've inspired me this morning. I have two books I'm in the process of reading. I need to not be a slacker and train my brain too.

Believe it or not, but I haven't read The DaVinci Code.7/09/2005 07:06:00 AM|W|P|Blogger Alexander|W|P|As a religious history buff myself (that is to say somebody who is interested in the history of religion, not a fanatical zealot who also occasionally watches Saving Private Ryan) I really enjoyed the Da Vinci Code. But what I enjoyed more was researching around the book. And you don't have to be a genius to do this.

I recommend starting out with the best selling 'Holy Blood, Holy Grail' which was published to much debate back in the 1980's. It's an interesting read and elaborates upon a lot of the various points raise by Langdon in Dan Browns novel.

Or you could just read the novel and then get on with your life. Completely your choice I suppose!

Ben7/09/2005 03:16:00 PM|W|P|Blogger Jacky|W|P|The Da Vinci Code is a great book, that way too many people take the wrong way.

The religious right are always thinking the world is conspiring against them.

I guess I am one of those that have not read DaVinci yet. I started with Brown's less recent works - Digital Fortress and the prequel to DaVanci, Angels and Demons. Both were excellent. Even the nearly 600 pg Angels and Demons I finished in an evening :)

Enjoy your time off!7/09/2005 09:08:00 PM|W|P|Blogger savante|W|P|Now go get the Illustrated Version of Angels and Demons!

Paul7/10/2005 04:43:00 AM|W|P|Blogger Jef|W|P|That's interesting. I just purchased the illustrated version and began reading it myself. I enjoy having the pictures to look at, so I can see what the characters are seeing. I agree with what others have said; Dan Brown is a much better storyteller than writer. However, that's probably a benefit because his writing doesn't get in the way of the story.7/07/2005 10:54:00 AM|W|P|hbjock|W|P|
Hey everybody, as I'm sure everyone by now knows.. there was a terroistic bombing of the London Underground this morning...This kind of thing is just getting ridiculous. My heart goes out to all my brothers and sisters in Britain over the incredible tragedy. It's been a number of years since I've been back there, but I remember the underground and the great architecture and culture of London very well...
*Photo provided by Ethan of BratboySchool.com... thank you cutie!* As a Hawaiian/English mix... there's an additional connection for us. Not many people outside of Hawai‘i know this, but the royals of Britain and the royals of Hawai‘i have always had a close relationship from the time of Kamehameha I Pai‘ea and Capt. George Vancouver in the early 1800s. Because of the friendly relationship between the two nations, Kamehameha I Pai‘ea commissioned a national flag for Hawai‘i that symbolized that friendship... hence the reason why the Hawaiian flag is made up of the British Union Jack in the upper left corner.. and eight stripes, each representing the eight major Hawaiian Islands.

Kamehameha I Pai‘ea

Furthermore, the bond between Britain and Hawai‘i was strengthened in 1843 when a disgruntled British warship captain threatened to fire upon Honolulu Harbor unless Kamehameha III Kauikeaouli would hand over sovereignty to the British crown in repayment of financial debts... after which King George sent Admiral Thomas to investigate and Adm. Thomas found that the British captains claims were unfounded and sovereignty was restored to the Hawaiian people. Kamehameha III accepted and in a speech uttered what has now become the State Motto, "Ua mau ke ea o ka ‘āina i ka pono"..."The sovereignty and life of the land has been perpetuated through righteous moral actions."

Kamehameha IV, Alexander Liholiho and his wife Queen Emma Nae‘a Rooke furthered that bond by becoming great friends with Queen Victoria and bringing the Anglican Church to Honolulu. The royals were so close, in fact, that Queen Victoria consented to being the godmother to Alexander and Emma's only child, Prince Albert Edward Kauikeaouli Leiopapa a Kameahmeha.

HRM Emma Nae‘a Kaleleonālani Kamehameha

Years later, in 1887, the reigning queen, Queen Kapi‘olani, wife of then King David Kalākaua, received an invitation to Queen Victoria of England's 50th Jubilee. Not being one to decline, Queen Kapi‘olani and soon-to-be Queen Lili‘uokalani sailed to England, and not only attended the festivites but were granted a private audience with Queen Victoria and, unlike the other invited royals, were given an honored position in the Queen's private box to view the entertainment in the streets below.

Queen Kapi‘olani and Princess Lili‘uokalani in England in 1887

So I guess I don't have to voice what a thrill it was for me and my fellow Hawaiians to visit London for a week back in December of 1993 and how honored we were to give a concert at Wembley Hall for members of the British royal family and other foreign dignitaries. We really couldn't have asked for a warmer reception and treatment by the British people, and so... for this humbled Hawaiian, I want to extend my greatest sympathies to our brethren in England, and especially to those whose lives were directly affected by the revolting tragedy this morning.

Your Taurus Drinking Style
You prefer to drink at a leisurely pace, aiming for a mellow glow rather than a full on zonk. When you're truly intoxicated, you are a one-person stampede... A bull-in-a-china-shop inebriate who spills red wine on white carpets and tells fart jokes to employers. Your preference for wining and dining (or Bud and buddies) to body shots and barfing is quite fortunate for the rest of the world This is not to say that you are by any means a teetotaler -- god, no. You will get, er, gregarious (full of loudmouth soup, some would say) and are extremely amusing to drag to a karaoke bar when intoxicated.
Your Signature Cocktails
Early-to-bed Taureans need a picker-upper -- try a Red Bull and vodka. You likely have a leviathan sweet tooth and are fond of drinks with names that sound like dessert (50-50 bar, mudslide). Sweetly caffeinated drinks, like Irish coffee or white Russians, are ideal. A little more macho? Then go for something unpretentious, like a Jack and Coke or whiskey sour.
Your Celebrity Drinking Buddies
Billy Joel, Kelly Clarkson, Jerry Seinfeld, Uma Thurman, Renee Zellweger, Carmen Electra, Dennis Rodman, and The Rock.

Here's my Alcohoroscope...

Your Capricorn Drinking Style:

You are the true rock star. Independent, powerful and seriously charismatic, you're not too eager to please.
And if you make money being yourself, who is anyone to quibble? But just like most rock stars, you're either totally on or totally off...
And you generally need a little social lubricant to loosen up and enjoy the after party, especially if you can hook up with a cute groupie.

Your Signature Cocktails
Old-fashioned Capricorns like an old-fashioned just fine or a dry martini, or a gin and tonic, or a gimlet -- or any other no-nonsense quaff. You prefer drinks that taste like alcohol and generally hate drinks with more than three ingredients. However, you like the flavor of cranberry and will order a cosmo if you can handle the wait for it to get mixed.

Now, Paul and I had a MAJOR argument yesterday about the subject of patriotism and my sometimes extreme anti-American attitude (Well, ok it wasn't an argument... more like Paul launching on a tirade against me just because I told him that we don't really celebrate the 4th of July here and that I probably wouldn't be doing any kind of family bbq thing). ANYWAY, Paul felt that I was betraying all those people who fight in the military to "protect" my life by not celebrating the 4th and proclaiming that I was a proud American... Well... I had to explain to him that I have nothing against the individual who is out there fighting because he believes that my life is worth saving... I am more against the "machine" so to speak that is continually robbing us of our lands and natural resources. Which unfortunately, is a product of the domineering government... and no Paul, I am not referring to the government as the American public as you like to believe that's how it exists... but rather the bureaucratic old farts who get paid way more money for 6 months of work than any of us could ever dream of... those who are trigger-happy to send the young off to war.. when NONE of them have their children in the military. Anyway, despite all of this.. I like to think that there is some good left somewhere in this country... and that perhaps someday... those in power will see the err of their ways and make things right with those whom they have betrayed belittled and desecrated... yes I know, it's a wonderful dream to have and highly unlikely... but hey, you have to believe in something right? Then again...

Hmmm... guess that's not gonna happen anytime soon huh? Ahh well... guess it's time to move... Canada looks nice!

All that we can hope for is that people in power get sense, and people with sense get power.

Believe.7/04/2005 04:58:00 AM|W|P|Anonymous Anonymous|W|P|I can't understand how a Hawaiian (hope that's spelled correctly) could have such a dour view of a government which seized control of your lands because the Queen was interfering in the business operations of a few American businesses.

There's so much good about the U.S. It's such a shame that the average American has such a skewed perception of right and wrong. How is lying to the public to get support to go to war not grounds for impeachment while having an extra-marital affair is grounds?

You're always welcome in Canada, but if you leave, who's left to stand up to the Reds?7/04/2005 12:02:00 PM|W|P|Blogger Donnie|W|P|Well, I'm a blue gay in a red southern state. I still love America and all she stands for....hell, I still cry whenever I hear "Taps" or watch the concerts from the National Mall. I just think the administration is taking US down the wrong path. Still, even with our "machine", we have it better than others. I used to be proud to be an American... now I am not. I hang my head in shame at our current administration. They are destroying what is good about America with lies and propaganda. I feel I am a true patriot because I want to abide by our constitution. These Neocons and Radical Right want to change the constitution to destroy our liberties and imprison others with no right to a trial. That is what is wrong with America right now!7/03/2005 12:07:00 AM|W|P|hbjock|W|P|Hey gang, it's great to be home finally! One of the coolest things about working for a local concert venue is that more often than not, you're going to have fun at every concert you have to work. And that definitely held true today for Beatlemania Live! I'm a child of the 80s and Beatles music always seemed to be "ancient" to me, something that only my mom's generation would understand and appreciate... like the total sex appeal of the group, I never really understood that. I'd look at videos of them and think... "Yuck!! NASTY!!" Heheh but, I have to tell you... the concert tonight made me do a "double-take." At first I thought.. oh great... I get to work a concert with music that I'm going to be soooo bored with, I'll want to fall asleep. But I didn't realize that the cast of Beatlemania are the results of a nation-wide search for guys that not only played music and sang like the Beatles.. but they also had to LOOK exactly like them and even ACT like them! After hearing that from the promoter, I had a new-found respect... and after listening to an hour of their music, I slowly began to realize that a lot of the songs I know today were actually first sung by the Beatles... Hey Jude, Twist and Shout, and.... aww shit, I forgot already.. there were so many. And well, I have to admit, the guys were really cute! I finally realized the sex appeal.. heheheh go figure on that one! Anyway, I had a great time tonight... I guess that just goes to show you, ALWAYS expect the unexpected! :)) Hope everyone's having a great weekend... I'll be back tomorrow!|W|P|112038583436407992|W|P|Beatlemania Live!|W|P|bfljock79@gmail.com7/03/2005 03:20:00 AM|W|P|Blogger Kord|W|P|Interesting. I never knew such things still went on.
